Subco Engineering opens new office at the Port of Blyth

We're really pleased to share that Subco Engineering has opened a new office within the Port of Blyth, which places our multidisciplinary team right at the heart of one of the North East's fastest-growing offshore energy hubs.

Becoming part of the Port of Blyth supply chain has been a goal of ours for quite a while now, so this feels like a genuinely exciting step for the whole team. A lot of our clients are already based at the Port, and having a base of our own here brings us that much closer to the people, the projects and the day-to-day opportunities that are driving the region forward, as well as to the quaysides where so much of the actual work takes place.

The timing really couldn't be better, because the Port of Blyth is going through a major transformation at the moment, with significant investment flowing into the area. That includes the expansion at Battleship Wharf and the major investments being made by JDR Cable Systems, and together these developments continue to cement Blyth's position as a key hub for offshore energy in the North Sea while reinforcing the North East's role in the wider UK energy transition.

Responsive engineering, when and where it's needed

Ports never really stand still, and neither do the requirements of the businesses working within them.
